Mumbai, Feb 26 (NationPress) Actress Preity Zinta attended the Maha Kumbh for the third time and shared her feelings, describing the experience as magical, heartwarming, and a bit sad.

Preity posted on her X account, showcasing a video of her visit to the Maha Kumbh alongside her mother. She included several moments of offering prayers and taking a dip in the sacred waters with her mother.

She expressed: “This is my third visit to the Kumbh Mela and it felt magical because no matter how much I try to explain it, the emotions are beyond words. It was heartwarming as I shared this journey with my mom, which meant everything to her.”

She further elaborated on her feelings of sadness.

“It was sad because I yearned for liberation from the cycles of life and death, only to realize the complexities of life and my attachments. Am I ready to part with my family, my children, and loved ones? Absolutely not!”

“It’s profoundly moving and humbling to recognize that the bonds of attachment are incredibly strong, and regardless of what we cling to, our spiritual journey is ultimately a solitary one!”

Regarding the notion she brought back home, she said: “I returned with the understanding that we are not human beings undergoing a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings living a human experience. Beyond this realization, I am unsure, but I believe my curiosity will guide me to the answers I seek… until then … har har mahadev ting.”

On February 24, she shared a picture on her Instagram from the Maha Kumbh Mela, adorned with a garland around her neck and a tika on her forehead.

“All paths lead to the Maha Kumbh... Satyam Shivam Sundaram,” Preity captioned the image.

Previously, Preity Zinta addressed trolls challenging her choices by quoting Shah Rukh Khan's famous line from their film “Veer Zara.”

In response to critics doubting her marriage to Gene Goodenough, Preity shared an iconic SRK dialogue: “Kabhi bhi ek dost ki zarurat pade to yaad rakhiyega, ki sarhad paar ek aisa shakhs hai jo aap ke liye apni jaan bhi de dega” (“Whenever you need a friend, remember that there is someone across the border who would give their life for you.”)

On the professional front, Preity is preparing for her Bollywood return in Rajkumar Santoshi's Lahore 1947, a much-anticipated period drama featuring Sunny Deol in the lead role.
