Mumbai, July 6 (NationPress) Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the talented actress who has garnered significant acclaim for her recent performance in the film 'Heads of State', has revealed that she has a household chore she absolutely dreads, just like many of us do.
According to 'People' magazine, she humorously recounted how she once deceived her mother-in-law into handling this task.
She confessed, “Laundry is an arduous chore for me. I struggle with it. I always try to persuade someone else to do it.”
Priyanka fondly reminisced about how she managed to get Denise Miller-Jonas, her husband Nick Jonas' mother, to do the laundry for her.
She explained to 'People', “I can steam and iron, and I can fold. However, just tackling the entire laundry process is incredibly challenging. There are too many buttons, too many options, and too many small items. … My mother-in-law attempted to teach me once, but that was simply my way of getting her to do my laundry for me.”
With a laugh, Chopra Jonas mentioned that she intends to give her mother-in-law a heads-up about sharing that anecdote.
She added, “I’ll call her right now and let her know I mentioned this. ‘Just wanted you to be aware.’”
As reported by 'People', since her marriage to Miller-Jonas' son in 2018, the actress has developed a close bond with her mother-in-law, frequently sharing family outing pictures with their 3-year-old daughter Malti Marie on social media.
The Quantico star previously shared that Nick, who is now 32, and his family watched the 2000 Miss World pageant where she was crowned. “My mother-in-law said, 'I remember watching you when you won,'” she recounted on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' in 2023. “He was 7, I was 17. And he was sitting there, watching.”
The actress stars in the Ilya Naishuller-directed 'Heads of State' alongside John Cena as the U.S. president and Idris Elba as the U.K. prime minister. This action-comedy is currently available for streaming on Prime Video. Among Chopra Jonas’ upcoming projects are 'The Bluff' featuring Karl Urban and 'Judgment Day', where she shares the screen with Zac Efron and Will Ferrell.
