Mumbai, Nov 18 (NationPress) Actor R. Madhavan, who takes on the role of a spy in the forthcoming film 'Dhurandhar', has disclosed how a simple yet impactful suggestion from director Aditya Dhar was the key to achieving the perfect look for his character.

In this film, R. Madhavan's character is inspired by India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.

During the film's trailer launch event on Tuesday, he expressed his admiration for Aditya Dhar's meticulous attention to detail. He mentioned that despite spending 3-4 hours on make-up and prosthetics, there was still something off about his appearance that prevented him from capturing the essence of the NSA’s likeness.

It was Aditya who approached him one day with a simple suggestion: to speak with thinner lips, which turned out to be a game-changer.

Additionally, the film features a stellar cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna.

While Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna portray the antagonists and feared terrorists from Pakistan, Ranveer plays the lead character who infiltrates the terror network at the behest of R. Madhavan's role.

Arjun Rampal and Akshaye Khanna shine in the trailer, exuding terror in bold strokes. The trailer is packed with violence and features action-laden sequences including gunfights, explosions, and destruction.

This high-octane spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, is poised to be one of Bollywood's major action releases in 2025. The earlier teaser introduced the world of covert operatives and “men operating in the shadows” as the central narrative. Its energetic title track, fusing hip-hop with Punjabi elements and featuring rapper Hanumankind, has already generated significant excitement, showcasing Ranveer in a dynamic, action-packed role.

With rumors suggesting the story’s expansive scale might lead to a two-part franchise, the film is set to be a grand espionage narrative that combines spectacle, drama, and intrigue, marking Ranveer Singh's most ambitious role to date.
