Raha Kapoor Captivates Hearts as Mumbai City FC, Co-Owned by Ranbir Kapoor, Triumphs Over Hyderabad FC

Mumbai, December 1 (NationPress) The enchanting couple from Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, were seen enthusiastically cheering for Mumbai City FC, which is co-owned by Ranbir, on Saturday, accompanied by their adorable daughter Raha Kapoor.
In an exciting clash during the current season of the Indian Super League, Mumbai City FC faced off against Hyderabad FC. As the team clinched a 1-0 victory against their rivals, it was Raha who truly stole the spotlight with her delightful presence at the match.
The father-daughter pair sported matching blue jerseys, and images and videos of the Kapoor family at the event quickly went viral on various social media platforms.
Ranbir and Alia, who celebrated their marriage in 2022, welcomed their daughter Raha in November of the same year.
Last December, the couple introduced Raha’s face to the world during the traditional Christmas lunch of the Kapoor family. As soon as Raha’s photos and videos were shared online, they captivated the Internet audience. For the festive lunch, Raha wore a charming white Christmas sweater paired with a pastel pink tulle skirt, completed with red bellies and white socks.
On the professional front, Alia recently starred in the film ‘Jigra’, helmed by Vasan Bala, known for ‘Monica, O My Darling’, but unfortunately, it did not perform well at the box office. The movie featured Vedang Raina as Alia’s brother, who finds himself imprisoned, prompting Alia to embark on a daring jail break mission to rescue him.
Leading up to the film’s release, there were notable controversies surrounding Vasan Bala’s comments regarding Alia’s casting, which Karan Johar, the film’s producer, claimed were misinterpreted. Additionally, Divya Khossla criticized KJo for allegedly inflating the film's box office figures despite its lack of audience turnout.
Interestingly, Divya’s film ‘Savi’ also follows a similar jail break narrative, with the main character, played by Divya, attempting to free her husband, contrasting Alia’s role in ‘Jigra’, where she helps her brother escape.
Despite ‘Savi’ managing to earn only Rs. 7.83 crore in its two-week theatrical run before being replaced by the more successful ‘Chandu Champion’, Alia’s ‘Jigra’ garnered Rs. 4.5 crore on its opening day. Although Divya claimed ticket buybacks on Alia’s part, the disparity in earnings between both films, sharing a similar storyline, is significant.
