Reflecting on his Guru, A.R. Rahman expressed, “He was incredibly supportive, and coming from South India with a more Carnatic background, I was always eager to explore Hindustani music. His sons Murtuza, Qadir, Rabbani, and Hasan have performed with me since Piya Haji Ali, and now his grandson Faiz also joins us. It’s a wonderful bond with the entire family.”

He also mentioned some of the musical offerings, stating, “I will perform some of my spiritual pieces like ‘Khwaja Mere Khwaja’, ‘Kun Faya Kun’, ‘Maula’, and ‘Izzu Mantasha’. Additionally, Khan Sahab’s family, including his sons and grandson, will accompany me for some of his compositions and pieces they have performed with me.”
