Mumbai, May 17 (NationPress) The singer Rahul Vaidya has been in the spotlight due to his ongoing dispute with Virat Kohli. However, it appears that tensions have eased as the cricketer has now unblocked him on Instagram.
Vaidya expressed his gratitude to King Kohli for this gesture, labeling him as the greatest batsman in cricket history.
"Thank you @virat.kohli for unblocking me... you are one of the best batsman cricket has ever seen and Aap India ka garv ho! Jai Hind. God bless you and your family," the singer shared on his Instagram stories.
The tension reportedly started when a post featuring influencer and actress Avneet Kaur was liked by Kohli's account.
Following the viral social media incident, Kohli provided a public explanation, attributing the misunderstanding to Instagram's algorithm.
"While clearing my feed, it seems the algorithm may have accidentally registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I ask that no unnecessary assumptions be made," the cricketer stated.
In a cheeky response, Vaidya remarked, "From today onwards, it's possible that the algorithm may like many photos that I haven't! So to any girl out there, please don't do PR around it because it’s not my fault; it’s Instagram's mistake, okay?"
The singer also revealed that Kohli had blocked him on Instagram, humorously suggesting that perhaps he had been blocked by Instagram itself.
Things escalated when Vaidya accused Kohli's fans of harassing him and his family after he referred to Kohli as a 'Joker.'
Vaidya took to Instagram stories to declare, "Virat Kohli's fans are even bigger jokers than Virat!"
In another post, he added, "And now you're abusing me, that’s fine, but you’re also attacking my wife and sister, who have nothing to do with this! This proves my point—that all you Virat Kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers (sic)."
