The actor declared, “I have informed both the cybercrime department and the police, and after that, I haven’t spoken to anyone. In fact, it’s not my job to talk about this incident when I don’t know anything about it. I am an actor, and in acting, I aim to entertain individuals of all ages, young and old, through my work. I don’t wish to comment further. Whatever needs to be conveyed regarding this issue, the agencies are competent enough to provide the information. I have shared the details I was aware of.”
The police stated that the threatening email originated from Pakistan.
The message stated, “We are monitoring your recent activities and believe it is crucial to bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you. We urge you to treat this message with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality.” The email was signed by an individual using the moniker BISHNU.
On December 14, 2024, Rajpal Yadav received the threatening email from someone identifying as Bishnu, under the ID Don.
