Chennai, April 2 (NationPress) The team behind the highly anticipated comedy family film, directed by Harish Durairaj and starring Arjun Das and Anna Ben, has unveiled the roles of Ramesh Thilak and Thambi Ramaiah.
Ramesh Thilak takes on the role of Dr. Subramani, a doctor, while Thambi Ramaiah portrays Minister Varadharaj.

On their Instagram profile, Powerhouse Pictures, the production company behind the film, shared the exciting news, stating, "From deals to doctor, he enters the frame. Introducing @rameshthilak as Dr. Subramani. #ConCity - a film by @harish_durairaj, coming soon to theatres."

They also highlighted the character of the National Award-winning actor Thambi Ramaiah, saying, "Fun guaranteed when he’s in the world of #ConCity! Meet Thambi Ramaiah as Minister Varadharaj. A film by @harish_durairaj, coming soon to theatres."

The production team has already revealed the characters of other actors, including Ponvannan, Sathanand, Rage Esakki, Madhan Dakshinamoorthy, Imman Annachi, and Bharadwaj Rangan.

A teaser released earlier has generated significant buzz around the film.

The teaser begins with Arjun Das receiving threats from a money lender over the phone, questioning why he has been unresponsive.

From the ensuing conversation, it becomes clear that Arjun Das has fled with his family after abandoning their home. The money lender threatens him, declaring, "Do you think I can't find you? If you believe you can cheat me out of my money, no matter where you hide, I will come and harm your family before your eyes." Arjun Das firmly responds that he won’t pay and challenges him to proceed.

Following this intense exchange, Arjun Das erupts in anger, throwing objects around him. As he picks up a small device resembling a receipt printer from a grocery store to toss it, lightning strikes, causing it to activate.

From that moment on, every time he presses a button for a receipt, 500 Rupee notes start pouring out. This twist places Arjun Das in a position to repay the money lender. However, he soon discovers he is not the only one aware of this magical machine.

Written and directed by Harish Durairaj, the film will also star Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Imman Annachi, and Akhilan in critical roles.

On the technical front, the film features music by Sean Roldan, with cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan. Editing is handled by Arul Moses A, and production design is managed by Raj Kamal. Costumes are designed by Navaa Rambo Rajkumar, while lyrics are penned by Mohan Rajan.

The film’s choreography is executed by Santhosh, while action sequences are choreographed by Action Sandhosh.
