Mumbai, Feb 21 (NationPress) The Mumbai Crime Branch has initiated a Look Out Circular (LOC) against an individual affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, following reports of a threat directed at Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who has been demanded to pay Rs 20 crore. In light of this, security measures around the actor have been enhanced as the Anti-Extortion Cell investigates the matter.
An FIR was lodged after law enforcement confirmed a voice note where the individual claimed to be Harichandra, also known as Harry Boxer.
According to the Mumbai Police, the Crime Branch has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Harichandra, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in relation to the threats made against Ranveer Singh.
The threatening voice note, which was sent to Ranveer Singh’s manager, was forwarded to the Punjab and Haryana Police for authentication. The sender identified himself as Harry Boxer and demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore.
