Mumbai, June 28 (NationPress) Actor Parag Tyagi has come under fire for taking his dog, Simba, for a walk following the abrupt passing of his wife, Shefali Jariwala, late Friday night.
In response to the online backlash, actress Rashami Desai has called for compassion and understanding during this challenging period.
Using her Instagram Stories, Desai stated, “Aree bhaiya, let’s spread kindness and compassion instead of judgment! Simba was more than just a pet — he was Shefali’s beloved son. Her sudden passing leaves a huge void, and I urge the media to respect the family’s grief and give them space during this difficult time. Let’s show empathy and understanding, not sensationalism.”
Previously, Desai expressed her sorrow over Shefali’s passing, saying, “I'm still trying to process the news; you were an incredible person, and I'm struggling to find the words to express... You will be deeply missed, gone too soon.”
Reportedly, Shefali tragically left this world on Friday due to a cardiac arrest. Her husband rushed her to a hospital in the Andheri area of Mumbai, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
As of now, the police have yet to clarify the circumstances surrounding Shefali's death.
In an update regarding Shefali's postmortem, conducted by a government doctor, authorities stated that the cause of death has not been determined as of yet. They mentioned that the specific reasons for the demise of the 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant remain unclear.
Furthermore, the police have recorded statements from eight individuals, including family members, staff, and the doctor from Bellevue Hospital.
However, an official has confirmed that no irregularities have been identified in the ongoing investigation.
