Mumbai, December 18 (NationPress) Actor and producer Ravie Dubey took a nostalgic journey as he revisited an unreleased character created during the formative years of his production company, Dreamiyata. He expressed optimism that the character will eventually have its moment in the spotlight, and he looks forward to sharing it with the audience.

In an Instagram post, Dubey reflected on the numerous ideas and characters that have emerged over the past six to seven years, born from a place of deep passion. While some ideas were left behind, others were carefully maintained for the right opportunity.

He shared: “Throughout the last six or seven years of Dreamiyata, we experienced moments rich with passion—conversations that led to characters that deeply resonated with us. Some we moved beyond, while others lingered quietly in our minds, patiently waiting. We even captured segments, constructed elaborate worlds, and archived them, knowing their time wasn’t right.”

Recalling a past shoot in London, Ravie noted that while organizing his phone, he discovered stills from that project that reignited a spark within him.

“Today, while sorting through my phone, I found stills from a shoot we did in London a while back. Something stirred within me. The inspiration is still vibrant. The world remains alive. Perhaps not today, but someday, this character will find its moment. When that happens, I’ll share it with the world.”

In 2019, Ravie, alongside his wife Sargun Mehta, launched his own production house, co-producing several films. Their joint venture led to the creation of the television series Udaariyaan in March 2021.

As for Ravie’s acting career, he will soon portray Lord Lakshmana in the highly anticipated film “Ramayana: Part 1.”

The first look of the film, featuring Ranbir and Yash, was unveiled earlier this year on July 3. The runtime is heavily enhanced by CGI, executed exquisitely by Prime Focus and Academy Award-winning DNEG, known for their Oscar-winning VFX work in ‘Dune’.

The film boasts an impressive cast, with Ranbir playing Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Sunny Deol will portray Lord Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan will take on the role of Jatayu, and Lara Dutta will be seen as Kaikeyi.

Music legends Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman are collaborating on the film's score.

The ‘Ramayana’ is a two-part live-action cinematic universe being reimagined on a scale unmatched by previous productions.

Notably, the film is being directed by top Hollywood stunt coordinators Terry Notary (Avengers, Planet of the Apes) and Guy Norris (Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa), who are choreographing the epic clashes between gods and demons.

‘Ramayana’ is being filmed for IMAX and is set for a worldwide release, with Part 1 debuting during Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
