Mumbai, April 3 (NationPress) Renowned actor Raza Murad honored the memory of his beloved mother, Liaqat Jahan Begum, on the occasion of her 98th birth anniversary. He reminisced about her being his greatest gift and emphasized the unmatched significance of a mother in one's life.

Beginning his film journey with Ek Nazar in 1972, Raza took to Instagram to share a restored vintage photograph of his mother from her youth, cradling him as an infant.

“Today marks the 98th birth anniversary of my late mother, Liaqat Jahan Begum (3.4.1928-12.11.2007). The baby in her embrace is your friend, Raza Murad,” he penned in the caption.

Reflecting on her as his most cherished blessing, Raza reiterated the profound role mothers play in our lives. He echoed the poignant saying that God created mothers because He could not be everywhere, noting that while everything else can be sought in the world, a mother is irreplaceable.
