What Can We Expect from the Release Glimpse of Anushka Shetty's 'Ghaati'?

Chennai, Sep 4 (NationPress) With only one day remaining until the highly-anticipated action thriller 'Ghaati', directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and starring Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, graces the big screens, the film's creators unveiled another sneak peek on Thursday, referred to as the 'Release Glimpse'.

On their X timeline, UV Creations, the film's production company, posted the link to the release glimpse, stating, "The QUEEN at her FIERCEST BEST on the Big Screens tomorrow. #GhaatiReleaseGlimpse OUT NOW VICTIM. CRIMINAL. LEGEND. Witness her journey."

This release glimpse video is packed with a sequence of intense and gripping visuals, reinforcing the film's tagline — victim, criminal, legend. In this glimpse, Anushka Shetty delivers a single impactful line, saying, "If you say 'They won't back down and these people won't back down', I too won't back down."

The film has generated substantial excitement among fans and movie enthusiasts, especially following the recent trailer that heightened anticipation.

The earlier trailer depicted Vikram Prabhu and Anushka Shetty as a loving couple living in the picturesque ghats. The impoverished local community, known as ghaatis, are exploited by smugglers to transport ganja through treacherous terrains to destinations across borders. It's clear that smugglers regard the ghaatis with contempt, instructing them to stick to carrying goods instead of engaging in business. The trailer suggests that Vikram Prabhu operates a dispensary or hospital while Anushka initially serves as a bus conductor. However, they appear to marry in the film, seeking justice for the ghaatis who suffer at the hands of smugglers.

The film was originally set for release on July 11 but is now slated to premiere on September 5.

Produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi, and presented by UV Creations, 'Ghaati' marks the second collaboration between Anushka Shetty and director Krish, following their successful blockbuster 'Vedam'.

Interestingly, this film is Anushka's fourth project with UV Creations.

Additionally, it has been revealed that Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu portrays the character Desi Raju in the film.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Vikram Prabhu mentioned that he lost eight kilos for his role in the film.

Sources indicate that cinematographer Manojh Reddy Katasani has vividly captured the essence of 'Ghaati' through striking visuals, while Nagavelli Vidya Sagar's music enhances the film's intense atmosphere.

Art direction is helmed by National Award winner Thota Tharani, with editing by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N Swamy. The sharp dialogues penned by Sai Madhav Burra promise to engage audiences with compelling storytelling.
