Chennai, Feb 12 (NationPress) The producers of the highly anticipated multilingual psychological thriller Saaree, crafted by the renowned director Ram Gopal Varma, released the film's trailer on Wednesday, thrilling fans and cinema enthusiasts alike.
Directed by Giri Krishna Kamal and produced by Ravi Shankar Varma under the production house RGV Aarvi Productions LLP, Ram Gopal Varma serves as the film's presenter.
In a post on his X timeline, Ram Gopal Varma stated, “SAAREE addresses the RISKS associated with SOCIAL MEDIA, where individuals develop innocent relationships that can lead to alarming outcomes. The film is set to be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on February 28th.
The trailer depicts a photographer who becomes captivated by a woman in a saree. He starts to fantasize and obsess over her, ultimately leading to stalking her online. The narrative unfolds from this point.
Alongside Aaradhya Devi and Satya Yadu, the film features other talented actors including Sahil Sambhyal, Appaji Ambarish, and Kalpalatha.
Satya Yadu portrays the stalker, while Aaradhya Devi plays the victim of the stalking.
Aaradhya Devi, previously known as SreeLakshmi and hailing from Kerala, was reportedly chosen for her role through a corporate selection process at the RGV DEN. Ram Gopal Varma discovered her via an Instagram reel that was sent to him.
Both Aaradhya Devi and Satya Yadu were considered the perfect choices for their respective roles.
