Reflecting on his connection to 'Border', Roop Kumar Rathod remarked, “I have been savoring the magic of 'Border' for a remarkable 27 years.”
He further expressed his feelings through a poignant shayari, “The mountain of needs does not tire me, and the film 'Border' and its songs keep me young at heart.”
Speaking to those present, he shared his nostalgia for O P Dutta, a key figure in the original film, stating, “This journey commenced 27 years ago. J P Dutta was at the helm along with his father, O P Dutta saab. We deeply miss O P Dutta – his fervor for his craft, the inspiration he provided, and the atmosphere in the studio.”
Feeling overwhelmed after reliving these memories, the artist concluded with a heartfelt message, “When I was unsold, no one cared, but you bought me and made me priceless. I am eternally grateful to 'Border'.
Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty, who attended the event with his son Ahan Shetty, was seen wiping away tears as he reflected on his son's challenges following the release of his debut film 'Tadap' in 2021.
Suniel expressed that 'Border 2' is the ideal follow-up project for Ahan.
In an emotional moment, Suniel shared, “After his first film, there was a brief hiatus. Life is always filled with ups and downs. Everyone assumes that since he is Suniel Shetty's son, work comes easily, but Ahan has faced his share of struggles.”
“I am truly pleased that he has 'Border 2' as his second film. There couldn't be a better project for him. I sincerely hope he has done justice to it and that the film succeeds for all of us,” he concluded.
