S. Shankar Reveals Ram Charan Joined ‘Game Changer’ Prior to ‘RRR’ Release

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Director S. Shankar, celebrated for films like ‘Kadhalan’, ‘Nayak: The Real Hero’, ‘Anniyan’, ‘Sivaji: The Boss’, ‘Enthiran’, and more, revealed that Telugu actor Ram Charan committed to the upcoming movie ‘Game Changer’ prior to the release of his acclaimed hit ‘RRR’.
‘Game Changer’ promises to present Ram Charan in an exciting new role.
While discussing Ram's involvement in the film, the director mentioned, “Ram Charan's choice to participate in this project was made even before ‘RRR’ came out. Producer Dil Raju believed it would be beneficial to include Ram Charan, and I agreed. Some of my narratives are universal, suitable for any leading hero, making them a perfect fit for someone of his stature. Our collaboration on this film has been remarkable.”
On the topic of Ram Charan’s acting skills, Shankar expressed, “When you observe him, it feels like he is harnessing a powerful energy within. It appears he can release that energy whenever needed. He is a performer capable of delivering profound portrayals. His presence on screen is commendable. Regardless of the scene, he navigates it with grace.”
In the film, Ram Charan is said to portray an IAS officer dedicated to eradicating corruption from the political landscape, a theme that resonates with the vigilante aspect prevalent in many of Shankar's films.
The cast also features Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Anjali, Naveen Chandra, Sunil, and Srikanth.
This film is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations and Zee Studios. It showcases Thaman's captivating music and S. Thirunavukkarasu's cinematography.
The release date is set for January 10, 2025, and it will be available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi worldwide.
