Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan Decide to Pause Their Relationship

Los Angeles, Dec 4 (NationPress) Singer Sabrina Carpenter and Hollywood star Barry Keoghan have opted to take a break following a year of dating.

A source informed people.com that the couple has temporarily ended their romantic involvement, nearly a year after their relationship began.

"They are both young and focused on their careers, so they've decided to take a break," the source revealed.

Dating rumors first emerged when the pair was seen enjoying dinner together in Los Angeles in early December 2023.

The Oscar-nominated actor and the "Espresso" singer first met during Paris Fashion Week, attending a Givenchy show the previous September, according to reports from people.com.

They have been seen supporting each other in various endeavors and on social media, with Keoghan frequently leaving affectionate comments on Carpenter's Instagram posts.

During her Coachella performance in April, the actor was also present in the audience, and he even starred in her music video for "Please Please Please" in June.

In October, Carpenter mentioned on Sunday Morning that she relied on her "not-even-biased opinion" when casting for the video, noting that Keoghan was right next to her.

Carpenter stated, "I was like, 'Who's the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?' And he was next to me in a chair. And he was so excited about it."

After the Recording Academy announced its nominees for the 2025 Grammy Awards on November 8, Keoghan expressed his pride in Carpenter while appearing on The Jess Cagle Show.

Responding to her six nominations, which included a song of the year nod for "Please Please Please", the actor stated, "Brilliant, I know. Absolutely brilliant. Feckin’ brilliant, lads."

"No, I’m really, really happy for her, honestly, and I got to get on the phone soon," he added on the SiriusXM show.
