Mumbai, July 13 (NationPress) Actor Sahil Vaid is set to portray SP Amit Verma in the eagerly awaited web series, "The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case."
In a recent conversation with IANS, Vaid reflected on his memories surrounding the tragic event of Rajiv Gandhi's assassination on May 21, 1991.
The actor recounted that he was just seven years old at the time, residing in Tamil Nadu during the assassination of the former Prime Minister.
"I was in Salem, which wasn't too far from the incident. I recall people discussing it, gossiping, and creating their own conspiracy theories," he remarked.
Vaid shared a specific memory: "I distinctly remember a conversation where individuals were speculating about the bomb's location. Someone claimed, 'the bomb was in the garland,' while another said, 'the bomb was buried underground.' This topic dominated discussions for days.
