Sai Pallavi's Visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Mumbai, Dec 23 (NationPress) Actress Sai Pallavi, known for her upcoming collaboration with Bollywood icon Ranbir Kapoor in the much-anticipated film ‘Ramayan’, recently made a pilgrimage to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple located in Varanasi.
The actress also participated in the Ganga aarti ceremony at the ghat. This visit follows her recent involvement in a controversy regarding the Indian Army. Previously, the actress, who starred in the Tamil action war biopic ‘Amaran’, suggested that feelings of safety and respect towards the defense forces vary based on public perception.
In a recently circulated video, she discussed the Indian Army, referring to it as a powerful entity that garners respect and instills fear among its adversaries due to its steadfast strength. She noted how viewpoints can change according to national loyalties, leading to contrasting perceptions, such as how Pakistan views the Indian Army as a threat, while India may regard certain groups similarly.
She stated, “People in Pakistan think our army is a terrorist group. But for us, it is them. So, the perspective changes.” Despite facing backlash from some quarters, her supporters rallied behind her. Many fans expressed their backing on various social media platforms, with one user stating, “Sai Pallavi, please don't react to naysayers. We are there for you! We can see the manipulation in the out-of-context video. Please see her full interview before jumping to conclusion.”
Another supporter remarked, “Please see the full interview of Sai Pallavi… this has been taken out of context completely. She never said anything derogatory about the Indian Army. She holds high value for the Indian Army.” On the professional front, the actress is also set to appear in the pan-India film ‘Thandel’ soon.
