Mumbai, March 30 (NationPress) Actress Saiee Manjrekar is observing Gudi Padwa today on March 30. In a special conversation with IANS, the 'Major' star expressed the importance of this festival to her.

Saiee stated, "Gudi Padwa represents our new year, and I believe it has consistently been a celebration of positivity, strength, resilience, and happiness. I deeply connect with its significance, especially through our traditions—performing rituals, enjoying delicious food, and it truly means a lot to me."

When discussing her favorite Gudi Padwa outfit, she mentioned, "For Gudi Padwa, I prefer a cozy kurti, comfortable loose pajama, jhumkas, and a bindi."

Asked about her favorite dishes for the festival, the actress revealed to IANS, "My top Gudi Padwa delicacies include Shrikhand Puri, Varan Bhat, and Batata Sabji. On this day, we also offer the first prasad of the mango, marking the arrival of the season's first mango, which always excites us."
