Mumbai, April 13 (NationPress) The 2023 road adventure drama "Dhak Dhak", featuring Sanjana Sanghi, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza Rekhi, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has been warmly received by cinema enthusiasts. In a recent update, Sanjana has disclosed the news regarding a potential sequel.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Sanjana expressed, "Due to the overwhelming love our film 'Dhak Dhak' received on Netflix, we are excited to announce a sequel."

Although the 'Dil Bechara' star did not divulge extensive details about the upcoming sequel, anticipation is building around what the creators will deliver next.

Written and directed by Tarun Dudeja, "Dhak Dhak" is produced by Ajit Andhare, Kevin Vaz, Pranjal Khandhdiya, and Taapsee Pannu under the banner of BLM Pictures.

The film tells an inspiring story of four women embarking on a motorcycle journey to the highest motorable pass globally, exploring themes of self-discovery.

After being filmed in just 40 days, the movie premiered on October 13, 2023.

When questioned about the limited number of films she has participated in, Sanjana replied to IANS, "I am not deliberately choosing fewer films. It has been four years since my debut, and I have been involved in four projects during that time, including navigating a global pandemic. Additionally, our industry has been facing challenges since last year, so young actors must adapt to these changing circumstances. My goal is to continuously work and produce more content. Even if I manage to do four films in a year, I will still prioritize social work. We are all hoping for our industry to recover and thrive once more."
