Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) Actress Sanya Malhotra has officially started filming her new romantic thriller, Sundar Poonam.
On her Instagram, Sanya provided a glimpse into the auspicious start of Sundar Poonam, sharing a collection of moments from the film's puja ceremony. She featured images of the clapboard, captured moments of herself performing the aarti, and candid shots with her co-stars.

Directed by Pulkit, Sundar Poonam also stars Aditya Rawal and is part of the Prime Video lineup for 2026.
The initial look was revealed on Monday, showcasing a glimpse of the thriller, which is said to be inspired by a real-life incident.
This film draws inspiration from the 2025 honeymoon murder case, which involved the tragic killing of an Indore-based businessman during a trip to Meghalaya shortly after his wedding.
In other recent updates, on March 14, Sanya shared moments from the Griha Pravesh puja of her new home, where she was seen performing the ceremony alongside her parents and friends.
