Mumbai, July 14 (NationPress) Actress Sara Ali Khan expressed her gratitude to the audience for embracing and appreciating Chumki, her role in the newly launched romantic film Metro...In Dino.
Sara shared some playful behind-the-scenes snapshots from Anurag Basu's direction on her Instagram, along with a heartfelt message of thanks to the viewers.
In her post, she stated: “I am grateful, blessed, and incredibly happy... Thank you for all the affection you’ve shown our film, and for welcoming and loving Chumki as well. P.S. Clearly, our moods had no middle ground.”
During an exclusive chat with IANS, Sara revealed her astonishment at Anurag Basu’s unique filmmaking approach.
She mentioned that the director gives his actors ample freedom, often leading to magical moments on camera.
In her words: “Throughout the process, I was consistently amazed. The moment you release control, unexpected things start to happen. Basu da refers to it as magic. The energy on set was electrifying, and we had to simply be present and flow with it.”
The latest installment in Anurag Basu’s trilogy, following Life in a… Metro and Ludo, features an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, and Saswata Chatterjee.
