Mumbai, Oct 29 (NationPress) Hollywood actress and director Scarlett Johansson recently shared that her 11-year-old daughter Rose expressed a desire for a Marie Antoinette gown.

The 40-year-old star, who is the mother of Rose with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac, recounted her experience on the Busy This Week podcast, stating: "My daughter ... requested a Marie Antoinette gown."

"A remarkable dressmaker, known for crafting costumes for operas in Ukraine, created a stunning two-measure full opera dress reminiscent of Marie Antoinette, complete with a hoop skirt and corset for my daughter," she added.

Johansson described the creation as outrageous, noting, "You can adjust it (out) so she can wear it over the years, and she still puts it on and looks incredibly cute."

Moreover, the actress revealed that Rose wore the dress for a memorable occasion, according to femalefirst.co.uk.

Johansson, who tied the knot with comedy star Colin Jost in 2020, shared: "She actually donned it for my wedding, which was truly spectacular. She wore her little dress, then said, 'Change me now.' In the middle of the wedding, I found myself saying, 'Hold on, we need a costume change for Rose.'"

In addition, the actress has previously mentioned that motherhood hasn't disrupted her professional life.

Johansson told OK! magazine: "I have a job that offers flexibility. I can parent, perform a scene, and return to parenting. There's a back and forth, but it works for me."

Regarding whether being a mother has influenced her career choices, she stated, "It hasn’t yet, but it might in a few years. I appreciate my job's ability to adapt to my life. I have a freedom that others may not, and I am grateful for it."

Furthermore, she is intent on being a positive role model for her daughter.

Johansson remarked, "I'm uncertain how much impact it has currently, but I want her to understand the importance of hard work, pursuing dreams, and making them a reality."
