Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri to Star in Action Thriller Set for Release on December 5, 2025

Mumbai, Dec 18 (NationPress) The highly anticipated yet-untitled action thriller starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is set to premiere on December 5, 2025. The film also features talented actors Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda.
The head of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sajid Nadiadwala, announced on X that filming will commence on January 6, 2025 and aims for a December release the same year.
His tweet read, “#SajidNadiadwala presents a @VishalBhardwaj film! A spectacular cinematic journey begins on 6th Jan 2025. Film releasing on 5th December 2025 @shahidkapoor @tripti_dimri23 @nanagpatekar @RandeepHooda @WardaNadiadwala.”
This untitled project promises to be a thrilling entertainment experience for audiences.
On Tuesday, Shahid shared on Instagram that he is preparing for his role as an “edgy and nasty” gangster from the 1990s.
He posted a monochrome selfie following a workout, showcasing his impressive biceps and rugged beard.
In his caption, he wrote: “Prep time ...Naya saal naya maal … Next character, next film what can I do that I haven't before .......lost in the woods...... But you can't be original if you aren't ready to be lost ...... DEVA was dark and menacing yet vulnerable and noble .....
He continued: “Who will this new guy be ...... No friggin clue so far....... But what a joy to discover yet again what lies within. Sliding into the edgy nasty gangster 90s.”
Reports indicate that Shahid will portray Hussain Ustara, a notorious gangster in this exciting action thriller directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is slated for release on December 5, 2025.
Nadiadwala's upcoming projects also include Salman Khan's “Sikandar”, “Housefull 5” featuring Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff’s “Baaghi 4”.
