Mumbai, Nov 9 (NationPress) Actress Shilpa Shirodkar, appearing in the newly released film ‘Jatadhara’, is highly conscious of her abilities as an artist.
During a promotional interview with IANS, she revealed that she finds it quite easy to detach from the characters she portrays. It feels instinctive to her, and she manages to keep the roles from overshadowing her true self.
She expressed, “I know how to cut my cords, so yes, there’s no need for cleansing. After a day of shooting, as an actor, you feel so drained from the work that all you seek is rest; there’s no time to reflect or wonder, ‘What will I do tomorrow?’ It’s simply not like that.”
One aspect she appreciated during the filming was the clarity of vision exhibited by the director duo, Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal.
Shilpa continued, “The directors had a very clear idea of what they intended to shoot. When they shared the script with us, it was evident how things would unfold, and we stayed true to that vision. It wasn’t a situation where we arrived on set to find everything drastically different. As actors, we were well aware of what we were entering into. Thankfully, this film was shot in a single schedule, allowing us to easily switch on and off.”
Produced by Zee Studios alongside Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, Shivin Narang, and co-produced by Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora, with Creative Producers Divya Vijay and Sagar Ambre, ‘Jatadhara’ is currently screening in theaters in Hindi and Telugu.
