The film recently completed its initial shooting schedule in Varanasi and is expected to explore the early days of “Mirzapur” Season 1.
Describing the experience as both nostalgic and creatively demanding, Shweta shared with IANS: “It feels like a wonderful callback to where it all started. Golu has evolved significantly over the seasons, but revisiting her bookworm phase is indeed both thrilling and challenging.”
“Re-experiencing that innocence and recreating her formative world is particularly special for me as an artist. And naturally, it feels like a reunion with Guddu and Golu.”
She mentioned that reconnecting with Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit feels akin to reuniting with a close friend after a lengthy school holiday.
“Meeting Guddu Pandit again is like reuniting with your best friend post-vacation, that same excitement of seeing my dear friend Ali Fazal again,” she added.
