Mumbai, Dec 24 (NationPress) As we approach the end of 2025, actress Shweta Tripathi has shared her thoughts on the highlight of her year.

In a recent Instagram post, she unveiled a collection of photographs taken on the set of Mirzapur: The Movie, which is currently being shot in the breathtaking landscapes of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The final day of filming at this location is set for Wednesday, and Shweta offered her fans a sneak peek at the film’s vibrant scenery as well as behind-the-scenes moments.

The images included snapshots of her co-stars, the delectable meals she savored, the clapboard from day one of shooting, and moments capturing her enjoying the sandy vistas of this stunning locale.

In her caption, she expressed: “One of the best things that happened in 2025!! We began shooting for ~ Mirzapur, The Film Jald miltey hai (sic).”

Regarding the beloved crime-thriller series Mirzapur, it centers on Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, a crime lord and businessman who is essentially the sovereign of the Mirzapur district in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, India.

The initial season featured a star-studded cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.

The second season continued with most of the original cast, except for Vikrant and Shriya, introducing new faces like Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam.

The series has been primarily filmed in various locations across Uttar Pradesh, notably in Mirzapur, along with other sites such as Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow, Raebareli, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi.

The film adaptation of the series is expected to be released in 2026.

Shweta first gained fame through her impressive performance in Masaan, where she portrayed the girlfriend of actor Vicky Kaushal.

Before her role in the sitcom Kya Mast Hai Life, she worked at a post-production house in Mumbai and also ran a theater company named All My Tea Productions.

She featured in The Trip and made her Tamil film debut with Mehandi Circus, directed by Saravana Rajendran. Shweta later gained further recognition in the web series Mirzapur as Golu Gupta.

Besides that, she is celebrated for her role in TVF Tripling, specifically in the third episode of season two as Begum Zainab, who is romantically involved with an elderly Nawab. She also appeared in season two of Laakhon Mein Ek and was featured in web series such as Kaalkoot and Escaype Live.
