Reflecting on her plans for the New Year, the actress, who recently wrapped up her role in the film adaptation of “Mirzapur” in Rajasthan, mentioned to IANS: "I enjoy surprises, which is why I traveled to Jaisalmer to surprise the entire cast and crew of Mirzapur.”
“I visited the city in my childhood with my parents, and returning after so many years felt incredibly special, especially since the Mirzapur team, my second family, was filming there. One of the memorable experiences was having dinner in the dunes under the moonlight.”
The actress expressed that Jaisalmer holds a unique significance in her heart due to its stunning natural environment.
“I have always felt a strong connection to nature; being close to it brings me immense joy and tranquility. The serenity is invaluable. It was a perfect way to conclude the year,” she added.
Following her time in Jaisalmer, Shweta mentioned that she is heading to Phuket, Thailand, with friends.
“I started my New Year celebrations a bit early since I’m scheduled to kick off filming for my next project in Bhopal from the last week of December, which means I’ll be having a working New Year,” she said.
Additionally, she noted: “However, as the 31st and 1st are non-working days, my husband Cheeta will join me, and together we plan to ring in the New Year at one of Bhopal’s exquisite heritage sites.”
The upcoming, yet-to-be-titled film is expected to be a gripping drama, with extensive shoots planned across Bhopal and other regions of Madhya Pradesh.
