Mumbai, July 9 (NationPress) Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar took to social media on Wednesday to unveil the latest poster for his much-anticipated film “Dhadak 2.”
The director shared an intimate look at the palpable chemistry between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri on Instagram. In the striking poster, the couple appears enchanted, heightening the excitement for this eagerly awaited sequel. With his eyes closed, Siddhant is tenderly gazed upon by Triptii, their heads gently touching. In his caption, Johar announced that the highly awaited trailer for this romantic drama will drop on July 11.
In his post, KJo, who is producing the film, wrote, “Do Ek dhadak. #Dhadak2 trailer out this Friday. Releasing in cinemas on 1st August.”
On July 8, the ‘Gully Boy’ star also shared an exciting list of elements that will be featured in Dhadak 2's soundtrack. He mentioned, “A poem by Shailendra. Couplet by Bhagat Singh. Kishore Kumar's voice. Thomas Jefferson's words. A little bit of SRK. And orchestration done in Budapest.”
Directed by Shazia Iqbal, “Dhadak 2” stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri as leads. This film serves as a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster “Dhadak,” which starred Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor. The romantic drama explores themes of identity, power, and the emotional consequences of love in contemporary society.
The project is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, Umesh Bansal, Meenu Arora, and Adar Poonawalla, under the banners of Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures.
