Siddhanth Kapoor, brother of Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, has been called in by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch concerning a massive drug case worth Rs 252 crore.

His name emerged during the questioning of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a primary suspect in the Rs 252 crore mephedrone seizure, as stated by the Mumbai Police. Siddhanth is expected to appear for interrogation at the Ghatkopar unit on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Mephedrone, also known as 4-methylephedrone, is an illegal psychotropic substance, classified under the NDPS Act since February 2015.

This incident marks Siddhanth's second encounter with drug-related laws. In June 2022, he was apprehended in Bengaluru after testing positive for MDMA (ecstasy) and marijuana during a hotel party raid. He faced charges under Sections 22A, 22B, and 27B of the NDPS Act, claiming that his drinks and cigarettes were unknowingly tainted with drugs. He was later granted station bail, as the police categorized his case as one of consumption rather than trafficking.

Siddhanth has firmly denied any significant involvement in drug trafficking, and his father, Shakti Kapoor, has publicly dismissed the allegations against him.

Furthermore, social media influencer Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, has received a second summons to appear at the ANC Ghatkopar unit on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, to give his statement regarding this case.
