Chennai, Aug 30 (NationPress) The creators of director Krish Jagarlamudi's much-anticipated action thriller 'Ghaati', starring Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, have unveiled the third single from the film, titled 'Sirimara Sirimara', much to the joy of their ardent fans and film enthusiasts.

Taking to their social media platforms, First Frame Entertainments, one of the production companies behind the film, shared the song link, stating, "Bringing love from the ghaats - pure affection, honesty and innocence. 'Sirimara Sirimara', crafted by Sagar Nagavelli, features lyrics by E S Murthy and is performed by Anurag Kulkarni, Lipsika Bhashyam, and Baby Maanvitha Nagavelli.

This charming romantic track illustrates the relationship between the lead characters portrayed by Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu. The single also includes behind-the-scenes glimpses of the crew at work.

Anticipations surrounding the film have been monumental, and the excitement has intensified with the recent trailer release.

The trailer depicts Vikram Prabhu and Anushka Shetty as a loving couple living in the ghats. The impoverished local inhabitants, referred to as ghaatis, are exploited by smugglers to transport ganja from the perilous terrain to various locations across the border. The smugglers exhibit disdain towards the ghaatis, treating them with contempt. They are instructed to limit their role to merely transporting goods, as engaging in business is deemed unsuitable for them. The trailer suggests that while Vikram Prabhu works in a medical facility, Anushka initially serves as a bus conductor. However, the couple eventually ties the knot in the film and seeks to administer justice to the oppressed ghaatis.

The film's release was initially slated for July 11 this year but has now been rescheduled for September 5.

Presented by UV Creations and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi, ‘Ghaati’ marks the second collaboration between Anushka Shetty and director Krish, following the success of their blockbuster ‘Vedam’.

Remarkably, this film will be Anushka's fourth project with UV Creations.

The filmmakers have revealed that Vikram Prabhu portrays the character of Desi Raju in the film.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Vikram Prabhu disclosed that he shed eight kilos for his role in the film.

The tagline “Victim, Criminal, Legend” alludes to the film's distinctive narrative, exploring the thin lines between good and evil, survival and morality.

Cinematographer Manojh Reddy Katasani vividly brings the world of ‘Ghaati’ to life with stunning visuals, while Nagavelli Vidya Sagar’s music heightens its gripping atmosphere.

Art direction is led by National Award winner Thotta Tharani, with editing by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N Swamy. With Sai Madhav Burra crafting sharp dialogues, the film promises to captivate audiences through its compelling storytelling.
