Chennai, Jan 7 (NationPress) Actor Sivakarthikeyan has revealed that fellow actor Jayam Ravi will take on the role of the antagonist in the forthcoming film directed by National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, in which he stars as the lead.
Sivakarthikeyan expressed his delight upon learning that Jayam Ravi agreed to the role. During a video interview with a publication, he stated, "We have commenced shooting for the film. The promotional shoot took place two days ago, and we are actively filming. It is a grand period drama that will be produced on a larger scale than usual."
The actor also shared insights about other cast members involved in the project.
He mentioned, "Sreeleela is part of the cast, and Atharvaa is also involved. G V Prakash is handling the music, while Ravi K Chandran is responsible for cinematography."
With excitement, he added, "The thrilling aspect is that Jayam Ravi sir is portraying the antagonist. It’s a remarkably powerful character, and I felt immense joy when he accepted it. I have watched many of his films during my college days, and I remember when he started his career in the industry. I have enjoyed his movies, and the prospect of acting alongside him and having confrontational scenes is truly exhilarating."
Regarding the working dynamics of director Sudha Kongara, Sivakarthikeyan commented, "Sudha ma'am is incredibly meticulous. She ensures everything is well-prepared, eliminating the need for us to ask questions. Her energy is always high.”
He expressed eagerness to continue filming with Sudha Kongara and noted, "We are shooting at various locations, making it quite a challenging project for the entire team."
During the interview, Sivakarthikeyan also mentioned that his collaboration with A R Murugadoss is 90 percent complete, with the final 10 percent set to be finished once the director returns from filming with Salman Khan.
