Chennai, February 24 (NationPress) Actor Ravi Mohan, who portrays the villain in director Sudha Kongara’s forthcoming historical film, ‘Parasakthi’, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, has revealed that the film crew will travel to Sri Lanka for the upcoming schedule.

While addressing the media shortly after inaugurating a restaurant, actor Jayam Ravi mentioned that the initial schedule has just concluded and the film is shaping up beautifully. “A talented team has been assembled. There’s a wonderful camaraderie among the crew members. Our next schedule will take place in Lanka, and we will be departing shortly,” he stated.

On Sunday, director Sudha Kongara confirmed that the first schedule of the film was successfully wrapped in Madurai.

Sharing images of her team and cast members at the iconic Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple, she posted, “Meenakshi, mayil, malli and schedule wrap in one of my most cherished locations on this planet...Madurai #shootdiaries.”

Parasakthi’ has generated significant excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts. This period piece, which also stars Atharvaa and Sreeleela, is reportedly set during the 1960s in the former state of Madras.

A teaser unveiled by the crew indicates that the narrative unfolds within Pachaiyappa’s College in Madras, where Sivakarthikeyan is depicted going from door to door in search of something. He emerges as a bold leader, aiming to rally students for a fierce protest against an oppressive system that has imposed rules such as ‘Students - do not touch’. Notably, the teaser reveals this directive printed on a wall has been modified to ‘Do not touch students’.

The teaser also hints that Ravi Mohan’s character harbors intentions to eliminate Sivakarthikeyan’s character.

Parasakthi’, previously referred to as #SK25 (indicating it is Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th film), features music by G V Prakash and cinematography by the seasoned Ravi K Chandran. Stunt choreography is handled by Supreme Sundar.
