Mumbai, July 30 (NationPress) Actress Soha Ali Khan disclosed that for the last four weeks, she has begun her mornings with a “small piece” of “raw garlic”.
Soha shared a reel on Instagram, showcasing herself enjoying a clove of garlic.
In her caption, she noted: “For the past four weeks, I have been kickstarting my mornings with a small bite of raw garlic. Why? Because this little clove is a powerhouse for immunity, gut health, inflammation, and overall balance. It’s ancient wisdom that still resonates today.”
She explained that she incorporates raw garlic into her morning wellness routine, stating, “I take one raw clove on an empty stomach, chew as long as possible to activate the magic compound allicin (what's your best timing?), and then swallow it with water. If you're not up for chewing, you can crush it and let it sit for ten minutes.”
However, Soha cautioned that “raw garlic” may not suit everyone.
“It’s not for everyone — if you’re on blood thinners, have stomach sensitivities, or are scheduled for surgery, always consult your doctor first! PS: Yes, garlic breath is real, but so are the benefits - so I recommend a thorough teeth brushing and a generous splash of mouthwash afterward #WellnessRituals #MorningHabits #HolisticHealth #GarlicGlowUp.”
A few days earlier, Soha mentioned she has been sipping on a detoxifying white pumpkin juice on an empty stomach every morning for the past three months.
In her caption, she stated, “Self-love is extremely important! I have been enjoying white pumpkin juice (ash gourd) each morning on an empty stomach for the last three months. It’s detoxifying, cooling, and beneficial for my gut #nutrition #detox #juice #morningritual #fitnessfriday.”
