Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) Actress Sonakshi Batra, who portrays the lead character in the television series ‘Jagadhatri’, expressed that the life of Lord Ram serves as a significant reminder for individuals on how to pursue the path of righteousness.

In her comments made prior to Rama Navami, she elaborated on her family's traditions for the day, stating, “Rama Navami has always held a deep spiritual significance for me. I possess profound faith in Lord Ram, and I genuinely believe that his blessings provide guidance and protection in every aspect of life. We observe this day collectively as a family, engaging in prayers and seeking his blessings, while my mother lovingly prepares prasad, which adds to the day's uniqueness.”

She went on to share, “I have always drawn immense inspiration from Lord Ram and the principles he embodied, such as truth, patience, strength, and compassion. His life serves as a reminder for individuals to follow the path of righteousness. Listening to the Ramayana fills my heart with tranquility and positivity, allowing me to reconnect with my inner self. Rama Navami is more than just a celebration; it symbolizes a feeling of faith and inner peace that lingers with me.”

Previously, the actress shared her experience of filming a challenging sequence for the show. The particular scene involved a Holi celebration where the tension escalated as Tapasya (played by Yesha Harsora) plotted against Jagadhatri, putting Maya’s daughter Gunjan (played by Pari Bhanushali) in serious jeopardy.

During the turmoil, Gunjan becomes trapped in a sudden fire, endangering her life. Determined to save her, Jagadhatri and Shivaay (played by Farman Haider) risk their own safety. In a heart-stopping moment, Jagadhatri leaps into the flames to rescue Gunjan and ensure her safety.

Reflecting on the experience of filming this intense scene, Sonakshi Batra remarked, “Portraying Jagadhatri has been a remarkable journey, and over time, I have come to enjoy action scenes as one of my favorite aspects of the show.”

“The recent fire stunt was certainly demanding, as such scenes require meticulous precision, focus, and safety measures. Collaborating with Pari Bhanushali, who portrays Gunjan, is always a smooth experience since she is an incredibly bright child and adheres to all instructions. Even during the fire stunt, she diligently followed every guideline, making the process easier for everyone on set,” she added.
