'Before reaching Bhutan, we got a very special welcome from the plane. We were seeing clouds below and then suddenly, we saw the snow-covered peak of Mount Kanchenjunga in the middle of them. Our captain told us this. It was such a beautiful sight and at that moment, the excitement increased even more because now we had almost reached Bhutan,' she said in the vlog.

The family explored Paro's cultural landmarks, including Tungkar Jong and the Royal Academy, before undertaking the celebrated trek to the Tiger's Nest monastery — a climb Sonakshi described as challenging but unforgettable.

One of the more surprising moments in the vlog came when Sonakshi encountered a Bhutanese singer performing her hit 'Chori Kiya Re Jiya' from Dabangg. 'He sang it so fluently and so beautifully that I can't even tell you,' she said, adding that she held back from singing it herself to avoid a copyright claim.

Throughout the trip, she noted, locals recognised her work, knew her songs, and spoke warmly about Hindi cinema. 'I kept meeting people at different places who talked a lot about my films, songs, and characters. And seeing someone from so far away connecting with their work is genuinely a very special feeling,' Sonakshi said. 'I got a lot of love in Bhutan, and every meeting was so warm and genuine that the connection with this country became even deeper.'
