Directed and penned by R. Balki, this film tells the remarkable story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Coimbatore, who pioneered the creation of affordable sanitary pads for women in rural communities. His inspiring tale was also recounted by Twinkle Khanna in her fictional work The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.
