The ‘Neerja’ star took to Instagram to share her excitement, stating, “Ready for my @anshulakapoor let the celebrations begin!” Sonam posted a collection of gorgeous photos showcasing her in a stylish Indo-western outfit. In her caption, she detailed her look—a fashionable brown ensemble featuring a long skirt, coordinating top, and a blazer. The actress set significant fashion benchmarks with her chic and modern style.

On Thursday, Sonam Kapoor made an appearance at her cousin Anshula Kapoor’s engagement ceremony held in Mumbai. Known for her comfort around the media, the actress opted for a low-key presence this time, steering clear of the photographers. Notably, Sonam arrived solo, without her husband Anand Ahuja or their son Vayu, and proceeded directly inside.

This marked Sonam’s first public sighting since rumors about her second pregnancy emerged.

Anshula Kapoor, the sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and an influencer, got engaged to her long-term partner, screenwriter Rohan Thakkar, on October 2. The intimate ceremony in Mumbai was attended by close family and friends, including Arjun’s cousins Sonam, Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jahaan Kapoor, along with Maheep Kapoor and her children. The event also saw the presence of Anshula’s father, Boney Kapoor, and cousin Mohit Marwah with his wife.

For the occasion, he donned a traditional kurta and made a sincere request to the media to respect the family’s privacy during these celebrations. Arjun and Anshula Kapoor are the children of Boney and his late wife, Mona Kapoor, who passed away in 2012 due to cancer.

For those unfamiliar, Anshula has been in a relationship with Rohan Thakkar since 2022, having met on a dating app. Rohan proposed to her in July 2025.
