The ‘Neerja’ star has frequently discussed how her family, particularly her grandparents, significantly contributed to instilling the values of love, compassion, and resilience within her.
In 2017, Sunita Kapoor’s mother and Sonam’s beloved grandmother, Duru Hingorani Bhambani, sadly passed away at the age of 89. Sonam shared a heartfelt tribute in the wake of her grandmother’s departure, conveying her profound love and fondness through an emotional message.
Posting a childhood photo, Sonam wrote, “Love you Nani, will miss you so much. Thank you for teaching me everything… 23/5/1928 to 29/4/2017.
