Mumbai, Nov 28 (NationPress) Actress Sonnalli Seygall, recognized for her performances in films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, and ‘Jai Mummy Di’, has celebrated the arrival of her first child – a baby girl with her husband, restaurateur Ashesh Sajnani.

A reliable source informed IANS that Sonnalli welcomed her baby on Wednesday evening at Surya Hospital in Santacruz, and the delivery was a normal one. Both the mother and her newborn are in good health.

A spokesperson for the delighted couple stated, “Sonnalli and Ashesh are ecstatic about the birth of their little one. Both mother and daughter are healthy and doing well. This day is incredibly special for them, and they are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the support they’ve received.”

Sonnalli and Ashesh tied the knot in June of the previous year, and in August, they announced the exciting news of expecting their first child together.

She revealed her pregnancy on social media, saying, “From beer bottles to baby bottles. Ashesh's life is about to change! As for me, some things remain the same. I was eating for one, now I'm eating for two! Meanwhile, Shamsher is learning how to be a good big brother. Filled with joy and gratitude. Please keep us in your prayers. December 2024 is coming.”

Sonnalli represented India at Miss International 2006, where she made it to the Top 12. Her acting debut took place in the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, featuring Kartik Aaryan and directed by Luv Ranjan. In the movie, she played the character Rhea opposite Raayo S Bakhirta, who portrayed Vikrant Chaudhary.

She further appeared in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Wedding Pullav. Additionally, the actress was featured in an advertisement alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Before embarking on her acting career, she was a ramp model who tried her luck in the Miss India Worldwide competition. She has also appeared in music videos for Prem, a Canadian artist, and Dr. Zeus.

The last time she was seen on screen was in “Jo Tera Hai Woh Mera Hai”, a comedy-drama directed by Raj Trivedi. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Amit Sial, Faisal Malik, Sonali Kulkarni, and Jatin Sarin.
