Chennai, July 9 (NationPress) The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the release of director Eugien Jos Chirammel's much-anticipated film 'Soothravakyam', featuring Shine Tom Chacko and Vincy Aloshious in leading roles, granting it a U/A certificate.
On his Instagram account, producer Srikanth Kandragula shared a film poster stating, "Censored U/A 13+". He expressed, "U/A 13+ Censor Done".
The release date for the film is now set for July 11 this year.
Originally, the film was slated for an earlier release. However, in June, the production team decided to push back the premiere to the new date.
Producer Srikanth Kandragula later updated fans through Instagram, stating, "Dear Film Lovers, due to certain technical reasons, the release date of our upcoming film 'Soothravakyam' has been rescheduled. The movie will now hit theatres worldwide on July 11."
He further noted, "From the very start of filming to the final stages of release, Soothravakyam has faced numerous challenges. Your unwavering support has been our greatest strength. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who stood by us during this journey."
