Mumbai, April 13 (NationPress) A multitude of prominent figures from the entertainment sector gathered to pay their final respects to the iconic singer Asha Bhosle on Monday.

The last rites took place in Mumbai at Shivaji Park, where notable personalities from music, film, politics, and business came to honor her legacy. Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan, actor Vicky Kaushal, Tabu, Vivek Oberoi, music composer Anu Malik, singers Anup Jalota, Sudesh Bhosale, and Shaan, along with filmmaker Ramesh Sippy and actress Padmini Kolhapure, were present at Shivaji Park during the ceremonies.

Shaan and Sudesh Bhosale performed Asha Bhosle’s celebrated song ‘Abhi Na Jao Chhodkar’ as a heartfelt musical tribute.

Among the political dignitaries who came to pay their respects were Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Uddhav Thackeray, along with MNS chief Raj Thackeray.

During her Unstoppable World Tour in London, the National Award-winning playback singer Shreya Ghoshal honored Asha Bhosle by performing several of her timeless hits, including ‘Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar’ and ‘Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahani’.
