Sunil Pal Reported Missing, Phone Unresponsive

Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Comedian Sunil Pal has seemingly disappeared. His phone is unreachable. After hours of anxiety, his wife went to the Santacruz police station in Mumbai on Tuesday, deeply troubled.

She lodged a complaint regarding her husband's disappearance. Reports indicate that the comedian had traveled for a performance outside Mumbai and was expected to return home on Tuesday but failed to arrive.

The police are actively investigating the matter. They are gathering details about Sunil Pal from his acquaintances, including information about which shows he attended and who he interacted with.

Sunil Pal is an Indian comedian, actor, and voice actor known for his comedic roles in numerous Bollywood films. He gained fame as the winner of the inaugural season of the comedy series ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’.

In 2010, he wrote and directed the comedy film ‘Bhavnao Ko Samjho’, featuring a lineup of 51 stand-up comedians, including Siraj Khan, Johnny Lever, Raju Srivastav, Kapil Sharma, Navin Prabhakar, Ahsaan Qureshi, Sudesh Lehri, and many others.

Sunil frequently critiques several established comedians in Bollywood, such as Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Tanmay Bhat, and Rohan Joshi.

He has been outspoken about his discontent regarding Kapil Sharma’s move to Netflix with his streaming series ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.

Recently, he criticized Sunil Grover’s depiction of a female character on the show, labeling it as “cheap” and “vulgar”. He expressed that he finds Sunil's role as Dafli, where he dresses in a saree and performs comedic acts, to be desperate, arguing that the actor's portrayal of women is inappropriate, particularly his actions like sitting on people’s laps.
