'Betrayal' is a vertical format OTT project featuring an aspect ratio of 9:16. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, this marks the actress's second collaboration with him.
Discussing her experience with the vertical format, Sunny stated to IANS, “I have faith in Vikram sir. Therefore, when he invited me to join this project, it was a simple decision to say, ‘Yes’ to him. I also hold the belief that all entertainers should participate in every aspect of the entertainment industry. Being at the forefront of these innovative concepts allows us to explore numerous layers of entertainment. I believe this is a brilliant concept.”
Furthermore, she reflected on her partnership with Vikram, noting that 'Betrayal' is her third collaboration with him. The duo previously worked together on Anamika, a suspenseful web series that garnered attention for its gripping storyline, where Sunny portrayed the lead character, infusing depth and intensity into her role. They also teamed up for Beiimaan Love, where she showcased a different performance style, earning accolades for stepping beyond her established persona.
On her experience working with Vikram, she remarked, “This is my third time collaborating with him, and it’s simply fantastic. He is very calm and nice; it’s just easy and wonderful to be around him.”
Sunny also extended her warm wishes to everyone celebrating Ganeshotsav, saying, “To everyone out there, Happy Ganpati! Please stay safe. I know everyone is out on the streets with their Ganpati, dancing and enjoying, but most importantly, keep the children safe and take care of yourselves.”
When inquired about balancing roles in South Indian cinema and Hindi cinema, she stated, “It’s all incredible; if you wish to do good work, the language should not be a barrier.”
