Mumbai, April 9 (NationPress) Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who is set to appear in the much-anticipated film ‘Odela 2’, has expressed that actors inadvertently agree to the public examination of their personal and professional lives on various platforms.

The actress, who has reportedly ended her relationship with Vijay Varma, recently discussed with IANS the extensive scrutiny surrounding her life, emphasizing that there is no escape for an actor from such attention.

She noted that this scrutiny does not affect an actor’s work, as they learn to adapt over time, allowing them to concentrate on their craft while tuning out the noise.

Tamannaah conveyed to IANS, “Once you become an actor, you consent to the examination of your career and personal life. Honestly, I don’t take anything to heart; I strive to share my viewpoint as honestly as possible. People will always have opinions, and that’s perfectly fine. We respect that. However, I don’t take any of it personally, and I believe the role of an actor remains quite similar.”

She further elaborated, “Formats will continue to evolve, technology will advance, and our consumption of cinema and content will change over time. The duty of a creative individual or artist is to evoke emotions, and I will strive to achieve that in every format or genre I engage with.”

Regarding ‘Odela 2’, Tamannaah portrays the character Shivashakti in this sequel to the successful 2022 Telugu crime-thriller ‘Odela Railway Station’. Earlier in March, she also addressed the label “Milky Beauty” she often receives, delivering an empowering response.

At an event, she stated, “Why did you perceive a milky beauty as someone who could not be Shivashakti? The director of ‘Odela 2’ does not view a milky beauty as something to be shamed; glamour in a woman should be celebrated, and we women must embrace ourselves before expecting others to do the same.”

Her statements showcase her confidence and reflect the evolving perception of women in cinema, where strength and glamour can coexist.

Having established herself as one of the most in-demand actresses in Indian cinema, her career spans over a decade across various film industries.

‘Odela 2’ is set to premiere in theaters on April 17.
