Irani revealed that the ordeal started with persistent pain in her left hip and leg, which she initially dismissed as a consequence of yoga or weight gain. 'I thought it was because of yoga. I thought I must have put on weight. So, the pain became bad. I started meeting all the doctors on this earth,' she said. The condition, however, worsened steadily over time.

From Limping to the Wheelchair

What began as manageable discomfort gradually stripped the actress of her mobility. 'At first, I was able to walk with pain. Then I started limping. There was a time when I was on a wheelchair. Because I couldn't even cross that much,' Tannaz told Khandelwal, describing how she could not cover even a short distance on her own. 'When you ask for anything with all your strength and positivity, I am telling you, the whole universe will be at your feet,' she said.
