Chennai, Mar 18 (NationPress) SS Thaman, the renowned composer celebrated for his infectious hits, is gearing up to deliver yet another outstanding album for Prabhas's eagerly awaited film, ‘The Raja Saab’.

Discussing the journey of this project, Thaman revealed, “We have initiated the song composition for ‘The Raja Saab’.” In contrast to traditional filmmaking where music is finalized ahead of filming, ‘The Raja Saab’ has embraced a unique strategy, granting Thaman the artistic liberty to refine his pieces.

When inquired about his inclination towards this unconventional method, he noted, “I favor this approach because Prabhas sir is making a return with commercial tracks after quite some time. The film features an introductory song, a melodious piece, a vibrant dance track, and a love song that encapsulates the theme of the movie.”

With colossal expectations surrounding the film’s music, Thaman is committed to achieving nothing short of brilliance.

He stressed, “The audio company has invested significantly, around ₹30-40 crore. Therefore, the songs must resonate with audiences throughout India, including those in Hindi-speaking regions. Given that Prabhas is stepping back into a commercial arena, I had to invest my heart into this project. Mediocrity is not an option.”

As Thaman breaks new ground with ‘The Raja Saab’, he is also preparing for ‘Jaat’, featuring Sunny Deol, which will be released on April 10.

After that, he’s crafting a compelling soundtrack for OG, the highly anticipated film starring Pawan Kalyan, ensuring that the music matches the film's intensity.

Moreover, Thaman is set to return to acting in the film Idhayam Murali, which stars Atharvaa in the lead role. His last on-screen appearance was in director Shankar’s much-discussed film ‘Boys’, where he also composed the music.

In addition to Atharvaa and Thaman, Idhayam Murali will feature talents like Preity Mukundhan, Kayadu Lohar, Natty, Niharika NM, Rakshan, Dravid, Angeline, Pragya, Sudhakar, and Yashashree, among others.
