Mind-bending Trailer Unveiled for Suzhal - The Vortex Season 2

Chennai, Feb 19 (NationPress) The creators of directors Bramma and Sarjun’s Suzhal - The Vortex Season 2, starring actors Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in leading roles, have unveiled a fresh trailer for the highly anticipated web series, much to the excitement of fans and cinephiles.

The second season of this massively popular web series will be available for streaming on the OTT platform Prime Video starting February 28.

Crafted and penned by the innovative team of Pushkar and Gayatri, this season is directed by Bramma and Sarjun and produced under the banner of Wallwatcher Films.

The eight-episode series showcases an exceptionally talented ensemble. In addition to Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, the cast includes Lal, Saravanan, Gouri Kishan, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Monisha Blessy, Rini, Shrisha, Abhirami Bose, Nikhila Sankar, Kalaivani Bhaskar, and Ashwini Nambiar in crucial roles. Manjima Mohan and Kayal Chandran will also make special appearances this season.

This second season of the award-winning series unfolds against the backdrop of the annual Ashtakaali festival in the fictional village of Kaalipattanam in Tamil Nadu, where the shocking murder of veteran activist lawyer and social worker Chellappa (Lal) rattles the community and casts a dark pall over the village and its inhabitants.

As Sakkarai (Kathir) embarks on solving the mysterious and disturbing crime, the shadows of Nandini’s (Aishwarya) past loom large as she faces an uncertain future behind bars. The investigation spirals into a web of deceit, secrecy, crime, conspiracy, and fatalities, becoming more complex as eight unrelated young women emerge as primary suspects in the murder.

To uncover the truth and resolve the case, Sakkarai must navigate through visible motives, personal grudges, and past actions before being engulfed by the darkness of this heinous crime.
