As reported by Variety, Scott initially introduced ‘Jackboys 2’ back in March during a concert in Miami. The following month, he teased fans with what seemed to be a trailer for the album, directed by Harmony Korine, on Instagram.
Leading up to the album's release, several featured artists shared images with custom Lamborghinis adorned with the Jackboys 2 logo, including Tyla, Waka Flocka Flame, 21 Savage, GloRilla, SoFaygo, SahBabii, Vybz Kartel, and Kodak Black.
Earlier this week, Scott dropped the music video for ‘2000 Excursion’, featuring uncredited vocals from Sheck Wes and Don Toliver, available on YouTube. He also unveiled different versions of cover art on the Jackboys webstore for various formats, such as vinyl and digital download.
Previously, Scott launched the first edition of ‘Jackboys’ in 2019, showcasing the artists under his Cactus Jack label, which he established in 2017, featuring talents like Don Toliver and Sheck Wes. The album debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced hits like ‘Had Enough’, ‘Highest in the Room (Remix)’, and ‘Out West’ with Young Thug. His latest solo project, ‘Utopia’, was released in July 2023.
In other news, the rapper is heading to India for his first-ever tour. He is scheduled to perform at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on October 18, 2025. This performance is part of his Circus Maximus World Tour, marking his explosive debut in the country.
